ABSTRACT
This project is a product, its presentation, and its report that touches on a particular demand made by the author, designer, and creator, the final product he made, the process in which he took to get there, and an analysis of his final product, using digital software to design and fabricate.
It is centered around a product called the "iPhone-flashlight adjustable stand" which securely and stably holds the iPhone 15 Pro Max in 3 different height/angle positions so its flashlight's light can be continously used as a light source for a small area near the stand.
The product was initially designed in a dark room with little lighting, finally designed in the UCSB Makerspace, and fabricated at the UCSB Makerspace. The presentation slides and reports were made after in dark rooms using Google Slides and Google Docs respectively.
The purpose of this product was to securely and stably hold a charging iPhone 15 Pro Max at an angle with minimal human upkeep so its flashlight could be used as an alternative light source in a dark room.
The purpose of this product's presentation and report was to educate an audience (the teacher) about a digitally designed and fabricated product made entirely without teacher intervention which could use mobile devices as an alternative light source.
